Oil Proppant or Frac Sand or Ceramic Sand, is widely used in the exploitation of oil and gas, an Oil Proppant Production Plant is a combination of heavy equipment that mainly use bauxite as the raw materal, first the bauxite is crushed and grind to fine powdery size, then is converted into small pellets, the main process is the calcination process, after calcination, the final product is screened into different sizes and packed with bags. this is how an oil proppant production plant works. according to the density of the oil proppant, it can be divided into high density oil proppant, medium density oil proppant, low density oil proppant and ultra low density oil proppant. and the main equipment for oil proppant production plant consists of crusher, Ball Mill, bucket elevator, powder classifier, rotary kiln, batching machine, granulator, Rotary Cooler , rotary screen and packing machine.

1: Crushing Process for the oil proppant production plant
After the bauxite is transported into the factory, the bauxite needs to be crushed via Stone Crusher and reduce the size to less than 25mm, which is the feeding requirement of the ball mill
2: The Batching and grinding Process
After crushing, the crushed bauxite batching with the additives are fed to the ball mill for regrinding, sometimes it needs to use classifer to separate the required sizes and reject the size for regrinding.
3: Pellet making process of the oil proppant production plant
The required powder is fed to the granuator, then we can get different green pelllet with different sizes, then we need to screen the green pellets and remove the required pellets, next the required green pellets are fed to the Rotary Kiln , where we get the finished oil proppant.
4: Cooling process and packing
The calcined pellets needs to be cooling before packing, usually the cooling method can be water cooling or air cooling.
5: Auxilairy Dust Collector for the oil proppant production plant
The dust collector is used to collect the dust during the production process, to make sure the factory environment is not harmful for the workers.
